GREEN AFRICA VILLAGES MODEL: Community Empowerment and Skills Training

Under the Green Africa Villages Model, Green Africa Foundation is implementing a two-year project on Community Empowerment and Skills Training on renewable energy, tree production, apiculture and capacity building in Kitui county.

The project is expected to benefit 1240 households with the goal of enhancing community resilience to climate change through sustainable livelihoods as they engage in environmental conservation.

At the center of the project is youth and women empowerment and inclusion in the green development initiatives.
